Muslim religious leaders oppose crackdown on terror
Muslim religious leaders supported by a section of elected leaders mainly from Northern Kenya are opposed to the on-gping crackdown on terror saying it was targeting muslims. Leader of the majority in parliament Adan Duale(pictured)has come up strongly to condemn the crackdown and threatned to resign from jubilee unless it was stopped.
However, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto have vowed that the government would not relent until security was restoted and terror attacks stopped.

Rongo Mp Mr Dalmas Oteino has announced plants to launch a new political party ahead of 2017 general elections. The move by the seasoned politician is likley to rub ODM supporters the wrong way considering that the legislator hails from Nyanza region that is considered an ODM stronghold. Jubilee marks one year in power but its presence still to be felt

While the team has brought in a new style of leadership that is simple and approachable, Kenyans are yet to feel its presence in many sectors. Devolution that was viewed as the solutions to all problems has not raised much hope while insecurity has reached all-time high.
